I like Sting music . I remember Sting was in a band name called The Police . I remember it well in 1980 . We need to LOVE each other . We have to live your life in the brand new day . Everyday is a gift . Turk, thank you for a video of Sting . We need LOVE, PEACE at this time of our lives . We need to help each other . No one is in charge of your happiness but you . That is the truth of life . Remember Lile is to short . Each day we have to pray that we are here on this earth . You can be gone tomorrow . That is the truth .

Hope that you had a great chat and show. I dont know much of Sting’s music. At least I dont think I do. I dont know who sings what music but I am sure I have heard it. I am really surprised that Elton John is coming to my area soon. He will be at the Lucas County Arena which is close to Toledo, OH which is not far from me. Would LOVE to go cause I just watched a DVD with him. It was a music and interview DVD. It was a behind the scenes thing and was really great. You are absolutely correct Lester that we need to cherish life because it is short and can be shorter than expected. Turk and the rest of the Turkies here can attest to my brush with death last year and only happened 6 months ago. So yes we need to make sure that we show our love and caring to all. I must go for now. Take care Turk and HUGE HUG for ya and all the Turkies!

Dave you all right I didn’t know you 6 months ago on this blog i am a new member What happened to you ? Sting and steive Wonder are good singer . I hope elton john come to Columbus .Oh soon . I live in that town . I missed the one few years back . He was at Nationwide area in downtown . Hugs all the turkies

Sting (ex Police and of course ex school teacher) is still great to hear live.
And Lester is quite correct, life is what you make of it and a little LOVE goes a long way !!! Oh, and hi Lester, greetings from the UK. Elton John had a concert in the grounds of a Stately Home in Norfolk (near me) a couple of Summers ago. Stunning. If you ever get a chance to go to a concert of his GO! I’m sure Dave would enjoy seeing Elton live too.
I enjoy keeping up to date with the news from Turkies worldwide - there are ups for all of us of course. It’s a great community. Glad you’re still with us Dave lol. And special hugs to Kassy (flu is the worst !) and Morgan. Chin up girl. Hope you can get to smile again soon.
I am writing this saying someone sent this to me the other day .
Another person cannot make you happy unless you are happy with yourself . Being alone is sometimes lonely but you do get to know LOVE and appreciate yourself , and also how to LOVE and appreciate others.
We need to LOVE , HOPE, FAITH . if we don’t have that in mind . We have to another saying ‘ONE DAY AT A TIME ” . You don’t know want the next day will bring us . Every minute count each day . Happiness is a new day. We need friends . Friendship is…… the best gift of all . . .
How is Uk stewart .? How is the weather in the UK ? Have you been to the United States .

I have a saying that the more you reach within yourself , let your inner LOVE for yourself really flow and begin to approach LIFE with the idea that it is OK to not have a partner right now .
Once we can be totally OK with being alone , with our self we can then open up a space for another person .
Friends are the most important in LIFE ……. FRIENDSHIP …… WHAT IS THE PURPOSE IN LIFE ? Can anybody tell me . If we don’ t have LIFE . Life is one part of living . We need to achieve our goals in LIFE. Some people achieve goals sooner or later in LIFE. God want us to have a LIFE. I am giving you Turkies something to think about ( LIFE ). . What is LIFE.?

To let you know what happened to me. 6 months ago I was on vacation on the west coast visiting friends and had a major heart attack and had to have quad bypass surgery on my heart. Lets just say that it was a very concerning time but I am doing very well now. Just saw my doctor yesterday and she is so please and nearly everything is back to normal. Thanks for your concern Lester and welcome to Turk’s site!
